The Consular Section assists Namibian citizens in the Greece, Malta, Ireland, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland respectively.
Visa services are offered to residents of the countries of our accreditation mentioned above.Services offered include (but are not limited to) citizen registration, nationality and passport related matters, emergency travel documents, issuance of entry visas, registration of birth etc.
Countries for which visas are exempted are listed under the Exempted Countries List under the tab Foreign Nationals - Visa Fees and Exemptions.
Please note that the embassy can only issue Tourist and Business visas.
The Mission can facilitate the applications for Work/Study/Research visas with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security. These are referral visas and are the responsibility of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security in Namibia.
The High Commission works with authorities of the host country to assist Namibian victims of crime, monitor arrests of and visits to incarcerated Namibian citizens to ensure that they are being treated in a manner consistent with local and international law, and locate missing Namibians. The Consular Section is responsible for assisting Namibian citizens in our consular district in the event of natural disasters or other large-scale emergencies.
